CAMA exclusively introduced eddy current dynamometer technology from Germany ZOLLNER GMBH in 1988. FST3 engine measurement and control system is a traditional open system developed by CAMA, the system is composed of industrial control computer, measurement and control unit, power servo-control unit, start control unit and data acquisition unit.

Equipped with various auxiliary devices, such as fuel consumption meter, conditioning unit and reverse-driving system,the FST3 system can complete various engine test, including overall power test, net power test, idle test, load characteristic test, characteristic test, uniformity test for each cylinder, oil consumption test, fuel consumption test, mechanical loss power test, high-speed durability test, thermal shock test and etc.

Eddy current dynamometer is the main loading equipment of a power test bench.

CAMA CW series eddy current dynamometers are produced and manufactured according to the proprietary techniques of Germany ZOLLNER GMBH (who now merged with AVL), have advantages of low inertia, high accuracy and stability, simple structure, convenient maintenance, complete series, wide use, automation in operation and control etc. The dynamometers are used for performance testing and reliability testing of not only engine, transmission, powertrain, but also other prime mover, dynamo, rotational system and some components and parts like oil pump, oil nozzle, speed governor and so on. They are widely used in production, scientific research, education, maintenance and other fields.
